Pennard, for those that have not heard anything about it, is one of the lost extraordinary courses you can see. A landscape not dissimilar to the moon. Golf has been played at Aberdovey since 1892 when a rudimentary version of the game was played to flower pots, borrowed from a local house out in the links. Royal St David's - more affectionately known as 'Harlech' - is a truly unique place. Golf has been played here since 1894 when Harold Finch-Hatton was initially using the land to practice his boomerang skills on the links. The club was generally a second club for people heading to the coast, much like Westward Ho! We had a superb time here, having stopped over in town after Welshpool we were on the links at first light, with an afternoon game lined up at Borth & Ynyslas!
